I hate decision making. A lot.
I'm not meaning simple decisions, like what to eat for lunch, or what to wear on any given day. I mean the big, life decisions. Like whether or not to take a certain job, for example. These kinds of decisions are so important, at least in my mind, and require so much wisdom and discernment as to know whether or not they are the right choice for your life. Not only that, as a Christian, I must determine whether or not a decision I make is the one that would be pleasing to God for my life. If you stop and think about it, it's a very daunting prospect.
However!
It has been proven time and time again that those decisions are a lot easier to make when you seek guidance. And who better to seek guidance from than God Himself! I think sometimes we delude ourselves into thinking that God isn't concerned with our decisions (however small or large they may be). But that's not so. God is interested in every aspect of our lives, and I think it pleases Him when we seek His guidance on matters. As a matter of fact, Jesus said it fairly plainly in the book of Matthew:

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he
that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
(Matthew 7:7-8)
How much simpler can it be? Ask for wisdom to make the right choices, and you'll receive it. Seek guidance, and it will be given to you.
I suppose the main point I'm trying to get across with this is:
It's so comforting to know that when you know you have to make weighty decisions, that God is there, willing and waiting to offer His help and guidance. All you have to do is ask.
