My Weird Cat

I meant to have some posts ready and all for the blog this week...and promptly forgot. Whoops!
In my defense, though, my birthday was this week, and so apparently I'm already forgetful in my old age. 

Anyway!
Until next week, when I hope to have some awesome new things to share with you all, here's a post about my cat!

Daisy is my very strange 14 year old cat. One of her favorite past times is sleeping in the garage after she's eaten. There is a particular shelf that she has claimed as her own, and more often that not she can be found there.

Usually on top of this box. I don't know what the appeal is about this box, but she loves it.


The other morning as I was leaving to go to work, I encountered the following:

 

At least she's graduated to a pillow..but....

Seriously. How is that comfortable?!

Spidey Warmers

At long last, here is the pattern for the Spidey Warmers! I ended up not being able to get them to the boys til last week-ish, and I had to get their sister to take photos for me to post here. So thanks Jaimie!! Aren't they adorable? As you can see, I made two sets in different colors for them, but the pattern is for the red with blue trim. To make the others, just swap out the colors. A Modern Day Martha

  And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things (Luke 10:41 KJV). Sometimes I believe the Lord looks down on me from above, shakes His head, and declares (and I’m paraphrasing here): “Honey, you really need to calm down.” I, like a modern version of the encumbered sister Martha, often find myself worrying over a great many things.  There is little doubt that there is a lot to worry over in day to day life.
